I purchased my first pair of Golden Goose sneakers a few months ago (and shared them first in this post!), and got tons of questions from you guys ever since. So many that I figured I’d dive in and give you a detailed review! I’ve also worn them enough now that I understand how they really perform, and a variety of other factors about them, which you’ll see me go more into detail about.

Where can I find Golden Goose sneakers?
I ordered mine from Cettire when they had a great deal going on.
Placed my order on grey golden goose shoes the 28th of April and they were shipped to me by April 30th, so the shipping was lightning fast .
What’s the going rate?
When I grabbed my pair in spring, I paid just under $390, but their standard price is around $514.
These sneakers typically cost anywhere between $410 and $1,700, depending on how customized they are.
How is the fit?
They’re true to size in my experience, at least for me.
Since they don’t stretch and half sizes aren’t available, I’d recommend sizing up.
Are they comfortable?
Honestly, they feel great, and only took a few hours to break in..
How do they perform over time?
Because they already have scuffs, I didn’t worry about getting them dirty. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and they still look great. Nothing has torn, and the shape stayed solid. Since the aesthetic is distressed, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.
Do they feel better than other shoes?
These are the best sneakers I own. I love my Vejas and Tretorns, but Golden Goose are just on another level. There’s a secret wedge inside that adds support and height — making your legs look longer. Also, they’re handmade in small batches, so each pair is unique. And the glitter on mine? Stunning.
Would you recommend them?
Yes! Just try not to pay full price. They’re not cheap, so getting them on sale is smarter. Still, I think they’re worth a few hundred bucks, especially if you get a pair you love. I went bold with sparkle, but a neutral version would also be smart.
